New build chuch, Douglas

This project involves the conversion and redevelopment of an existing building on Finch Road in central Douglas to create a new place of worship for Living Hope Church. The scheme transforms the former retail unit into a flexible church and community facility designed to support worship, gatherings and outreach activities.

The building provides an assembly hall accommodating up to 300 people, alongside additional rooms capable of hosting around 200 people for meetings, teaching and community events. The design adapts the existing structure to create a welcoming and functional environment for the congregation while supporting wider community use. The redevelopment also includes public realm improvements, such as the restoration of the historic fountain located outside the building, helping to enhance the setting and contribute positively to the surrounding streetscape. The project is current on-site.
