This project involved the design of a new purpose-built headquarters for the Manx Blind Welfare Society, now known as the Sight Matters Building, located in Onchan, Isle of Man. The building provides a fully accessible facility designed specifically to support blind and visually impaired users, accommodating offices, meeting rooms and activity spaces that support the charity’s services and community programmes. The design carefully considered accessibility, navigation and the creation of comfortable spaces for members and staff. The development provides a modern base for the charity’s operations, supporting a wide range of services that promote independence, wellbeing and community connection for people experiencing sight loss across the Isle of Man.
