Coastal Retreat, Maughold

This project involves the full refurbishment of an existing dwelling at The Colony in Maughold, alongside a contemporary rear extension designed to create a modern coastal retreat. The scheme reconfigures the existing house to improve internal layouts and enhance connections to the surrounding landscape.

The new extension introduces generous living spaces oriented to maximise views of the sea below, bringing natural light and the coastal setting into the heart of the home. The design carefully balances contemporary architectural elements with the character of the original dwelling, creating a calm and comfortable seaside residence. The project is currently onsite and due to complete in 2026.
