Contemporary Family Home, Bradda East, Port Erin

This project comprises a new contemporary four-bedroom family home at Bradda East, Port Erin, carefully designed to respond to its steep hillside setting. The house is arranged in a series of stepped levels that terrace back into the landscape, allowing the building to sit comfortably within the hillside while maximising views across the surrounding area.

The design incorporates balconies and south-facing terraces to take advantage of sunlight and sea views, creating generous outdoor spaces connected to the main living areas. A palette of contextual materials references the character of surrounding buildings while the overall architectural approach remains contemporary, resulting in a home that is both modern in design and sensitive to its setting.
